National Roofing Moves Headquarters
In July 2019, National Roofing relocated to 6821 Academy Parkway W. NE, the impressive Richardson & Richardson design-build, previously occupied by Gardner Zemke.
Their new headquarters not only offers larger warehouses and multiple meeting spaces, but the room necessary for the exciting developments they have planned within their growing organization.

Founder, Tom Johns, established the company in 1976 opening its first set of doors in a small 450 square-foot office on Edith Boulevard. Less than ten years later, the company moved into a larger space on Columbia Drive, the first of many developments that would take place on the company’s campus.
In 2006, National Roofing built its commercial office headquarters, expanding the company’s footprint on Columbia Drive. Recognizing the growing demand in the industry, Tom Johns predicted the company’s next relocation to take place under his son’s leadership in 2020.
With the company’s milestone of relocation accomplished early, National Roofing’s President, Jackson Johns, says the company will now be focusing on consolidation and expansion.
“This is the first step in a new journey,” says Jackson Johns. “It represents a transition between where we’ve been and where we are going.”
National Roofing’s Strategic Partners, Building Envelope Services, Midtown Metal, and Colibri Media, also occupy the building, each offering a unique set of services - each carrying the same standards for quality, expertise, and customer service.
“In another ten years, National Roofing is still going to be a company built around our core values like integrity, learning, and service, just bigger, broader, and better able to serve more people in more ways,” says Jackson Johns.
And with this proud moment for National Roofing, the company felt it was the perfect time to celebrate.
