National Roofing in the Community

Posted on 2/28/2007

Most of us recall the snowstorm that hit New Mexico over New Year’s that shut down Albuquerque and most other cities in the state. People couldn’t get in or out while traveling and businesses had to close down. The storm definitely took its toll on the roofing industry, shutting down many projects across the state. However, that didn’t stop the guys over at National Roofing. Tom Johns saw a plea on the news asking people to help shovel snow from an Albuquerque based retirement community. The team at National Roofing quickly jumped at the opportunity, loaded up their trucks and shoveled snow for a couple of days, and National Roofing paid the team their normal wages. While it was not the most ideal situation, National Roofing is proud to say, and show, that they not only care about the well being of their employees, but also those in need in the Albuquerque community.
